Scripture : 1 Corinthians 14:40
Balance is a resting time that comes as a result of:
a) Counteracting forces
b) Harmony amongst many factors
c) Correct sensitivity and judgment
May be your company is going through these things… and may be not… If “NOT” is your current answer then here you’ll find three important aspects to accomplish a prosperous business:
1. FINANCIAL BALANCE:
We off course mean money. Companies are designed to render a service, but also to generate income. But you must be able to differentiate:
-Where does money come from?: Establish clearly your economic sources. Sometimes it’s products or services but its income is not clearly identified. When you figure out your target you’ll be more effective in generating more money and having the right public for it.
- What are my expenses?: Figure out your monthly responsibilities and distribute it correctly –that is by priority- with the rest of the budget. Do remember. You expenses must be inferior to your income… if that is not what’s happening you need to revise one by one the expenses and make decisions to change that and improve. Start by setting the needed and the unnecessary expenses that can be avoided.
- Investment: Every business targets investment in order to grow, and after checking the risk of the investment areas and the needed material, people and effort to make them run, as well as the economic commitment and projection.
2. WORK FORCE BALANCE:
A company is not better or worse due to the number of employees. There was a man who eagerly wanted to have his company locally and after a good start, he started to spend much more than needed which got him into more and more debts he could’ve avoided.
- Opportunity: what is the best moment, risks, places and people to launch with?
- Hiring: Why am I hiring these people? What do I expect them to do? Do they fulfill not only their profiles but the image of the company? Are they properly trained or I just feel for them? Set the right people in the right place capitalizing their aptitudes, knowledge, commitment and abilities in behalf of the company.
3. BALANCE WHEN GETTING INTO BUSINESS:
Achievement capacity.
How much can I sell? Set realistic goals and be responsible to the point of generating efforts that take you to them.
If I can’t supply a daily order of whatever product at a demand rate that is higher than accomplishable, then I need to reset that particular standard.
How far can I take discounts to? Am I actually making money with what I do?
- Diversify: Various business or various products in a balanced way can give you a variety of sources that help you not to depend in only one. A variety of clients is also key to expand your product to different markets and grow. Make the right choices and take the least risks.
- Sub Hiring: When external help is available it is key to be careful on who and how, being very clear from the beginning in terms, conditions and responsibilities as well as expectations. Make sure you don’t hire un experienced people and be careful to get only personnel who can elevate the name of the company
If you accomplish balance in every possible area of your business you will see your company stand on strong foundations for a very long term and it can even pass generations that will enjoy all the lasting benefits.
If this is the first time you’ve ever read our meditations and have never invited Jesus into your heart, then, all you have to do is to confess out loud, the following prayer:
“Lord Jesus I lay my life in your hands today. Take control of my heart and life and be my Lord and personal savior. Please forgive my sins. I repent of all my failures and wrongs and receive your peace, your love and your forgiveness. I thank you for the precious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Amen.” Dear reader, if you just made this prayer, I give you my congratulations. The Lord says you are new and all your past (even right before your payer) is all gone. He has forgiven you from EVERY sin. Now, my advice for you is that every morning as you open your eyes, you go to The Lord in prayer feeling free to call Him Father for He is!. Get a bible and read it. You may start with John which is a book that details to you His love story for you. Also, please feel free to contact us at the link so we can hear from you and pray with you.
