EMAIL IT TO A FRIEND Your Name Your E-Mail Your friend's name Your friend's e-mail Comments: Scripture : John 5:1-14 There are many ailments that take over the young people’s bodies … they obviously just can’t accept they deal with a disease. The enemy usually rises a big argument through denial and shame to admit that there is pain… especially when this one hinders their usual activities. It is odd to hear a young man complaining of being sick and friends are more likely to conceal some illnesses like cancer, aids, anorexia... among others. The biggest the disease the least possible it is for them to confront them. Dear young friend… denial and concealing of an infirmity is just a trick the devil uses to prevent you from enjoying healing and wholeness. There are diseases that cruise generations and then somebody would refer to grandpa or granny suffer from this or that… as if revealing you the least thing you should expect. Do not believe the devil! The Lord tells you today: “If you believe… you are healed!” And we know that whatever seems impossible for you it is possible for God. The only true medicine for you… Is your faith in Jesus! Now…. The big question: - Do you want to be healed? The Lord wants you to enjoy health… but the devil and demons are able to raise any mechanism to hurt you using against you your own sins. In verse 5 we find a man paralyzed for 38 years.. To us… it would be impossible to heal him, but The Lord enjoys to work even through impossible conditions to heal us. Dear Friend… Once The Lord takes over… the first step is being healed… from then on it is all about being careful not to let the slightest way for the devil to steal anything from you again. Then in verse 14 we find Jesus coming to this man again and tells him: “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you." So.. dear young man and woman: Sin has a lot to do with illness. Sweep away all traces of sin from your life and grab God’s hand ! Don’t play games with sin as it is the matrix to illnesses.. Stay away from non marital sex as it leads to unwanted pregnancies, broken marriages, STD’s, AIDS, abortions etc. Stay away from smoking which leads to addictions, degenerative conditions, bad lungs and even cancer… Do not obsess with food as its lack or abuse can also generate anorexia or bulimia as well as a variety of digestive conditions. Vices, addictions, obsessions that lead to sin and ruin the lives of many. Cliché and all… keep yourself for someone special, your sexuality for your spouse when you get married. Do not let the “appealing and attractive looks of sin” weaken you, lure you and destroy you… be determined to follow God’s will to not sin against yourself and consecrate to Jesus who is ready to give you from the bounty of His love to all those who really want from Him. If this is the first time you’ve ever read our meditations and have never invited Jesus into your heart, then, all you have to do is to confess out loud, the following prayer: “Lord Jesus I lay my life in your hands today. Take control of my heart and life and be my Lord and personal savior. Please forgive my sins. I repent of all my failures and wrongs and receive your peace, your love and your forgiveness. I thank you for the precious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Amen.” Dear reader, if you just made this prayer, I give you my congratulations. The Lord says you are new and all your past (even right before your payer) is all gone. He has forgiven you from EVERY sin. Now, my advice for you is that every morning as you open your eyes, you go to The Lord in prayer feeling free to call Him Father for He is!. Get a bible and read it.
